Researching historical facts
Using ipads to make a fact sheet ‘Mayan v’s Egyptian pyramids’
Making a PowerPoint presentation on Mayan Masks
Researching a testable hypothesis about the past.

Experiences to enhance the learning have been:

A practical workshop making Mayan masks with 20:21 arts
A trip to Bradford’s National Media Museum to look at technology from the past.
The final project included burying a time capsule with the 21^st Century guides that the children created.

In addition to the projects running your child has also been taught ‘stand-alone’ lessons including Maths skills, English skills, Guided reading, Swimming, Personal Development, Religious Education and Singing. They have also being learning exam techniques in preparation for their tests.
