Sophie Koltyka

I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children learn best when they feel safe, happy, and valued for who they are. I believe that when children feel supported, they gain the confidence to take risks, explore new ideas, and develop a genuine love of learning. My hope is that every child at YA grows into a well-rounded individual—academically curious, emotionally resilient, and kind to others—ready to go out into the world and truly show their GLO.

I love working at Yarborough Academy because we are a fantastic, friendly team who genuinely supports and inspires one another every day. At Team YA we all truly want what is best for every child in our care and work together to help them thrive and be the best versions of themselves.
