The ‘G’ stands for…
You can grow your brain in lots of ways: trying something new, conquering something inside or outside of school or learning a new skill like patience or trust. It is improving in any way that you can – there are so many ways.
The ‘L’ stands for…
You can show love to yourself and others. This means being kind and considerate, caring for our school and each other, using peaceful problem-solving, and practising empathy.
The ‘O’ stands for…
We grow when we go beyond our expectations. This is next-level, mind-blowing GLO; it means excellence every single day. Together, these values create a culture where everyone feels seen, supported, and inspired to achieve more than we ever thought possible.
What is GLO Mo?
When you show GLO behaviour we call that a GLO Mo. This is a moment in which you have GLOwed. You might even get a GLO sticker or GLO card home. These are to make sure that our whole school and your family recognise how incredible you are and can ask you about your GLO Mo.
What is GLO Circle?
Each week, each class family gathers together in a circle. Together, each class shares the GLO Mos they’ve seen in others and ourselves. The class teacher will also share all of the entries in the GLO book that week too. GLO circles are not about competition or voting for your friend. We decide together which GLO really speaks to the classes hearts and agree this as a team. This GLO Mo is then shared in the show.
What is Glo Mo Show?
Our weekly celebration of everyone’s GLO Mos starts with our famous ‘Shaky Hand Gang’. Our whole school family meets in the hall with disco lights and we sing our special GLO Mo Show song. There is a walkway, lit by GLO balls, for all of the GLO Mo’s to walk down. When they walk they are met with cheers, applause and high fives – a bit like being famous.
The GLO Mos are shared by a friend from each class - they use a microphone to tell the whole school how wonderfully their GLO Mo has shown Growth, Love or gone Over and Above. At the front, Mrs Albery will give each person their very own GLO band and also tell them why they’re so incredible.

We know that a kinder future generation starts right here with us and we want to instil that we do the right thing not for reward but because we know that it’s the right thing. Through our GLO values, our children will grow up embodying what it means to show Growth, Love and Over & Above - doing what is right rather than what is easy.
