Ruth Blanchard
My name is Ruth Blanchard. My role in school is Teacher.
I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children are all unique and need to be appreciated and nurtured as individuals. At Yarborough, children are encouraged to be who they authentically are, wear their hearts on their sleeves and show huge amounts of emotional intelligence from the youngest ages.
I love working at Yarborough Academy because I get to be with two wonderful classes in both year 1 and year 4. No two days are the same and I love being able to teach a vast range of subjects to different age groups.
Three words my family and friends use to describe me are crazy, loving and creative.
