Rebecca Okopskyj
My name is Rebecca Okopskyj. My role in school is Early Years Practitioner.
I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children deserve to be nurtured, valued, understood, be shown love, respect and overall feel safe so they can grow and learn to be best person they can be.
I love working at Yarborough Academy because I am surrounded by kind, supportive and hard-working individuals who work as a team. This enables me to be the best version of myself for all the children I have the privilege to take care of. I love working in early years as I get to be at very start of the children’s journey at YA.
Three words my family and friends use to describe me are caring, nurturing and creative.
