I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children deserves to feel safe, valued, and capable from the very beginning of their journey with us. As EYFS Lead, I see every day how vital those early experiences are in shaping children’s confidence, curiosity, and love of learning. Having a strong start to their education lays the foundation for everything that follows. When we get it right in the early years, through nurturing relationships, high expectations, and purposeful provision we give children the best possible chance to thrive both academically and personally. I’m proud to be part of a team that understands just how powerful those first steps really are.

I love working at Yarborough Academy because I love working at Yarborough Academy because over the past 13 years I’ve had the privilege of working with so many wonderful children, families and staff. Building those relationships and watching children grow from their very first days with us is incredibly rewarding. Being part of their journey, supporting them through milestones, and sharing in their successes is something I never take for granted. Yarborough Academy has a strong sense of community, and that is what has kept me here for so many years. The partnership we build with families, alongside the dedication of staff, creates an environment where children feel supported and valued. It’s a great place to work.
