I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children develop when they are supported, encouraged, and inspired by the adults around them. As a teacher, I am passionate about building strong relationships and creating a calm, purposeful classroom where pupils develop independence, resilience, and confidence while preparing for the transition to secondary school. Being part of Team YA allows me to work collaboratively with colleagues to make a meaningful and lasting impact on pupils’ learning and personal growth.

I love working at Yarborough Academy because we truly work together as a team. Everyone supports each other, shares ideas and celebrates successes, which creates a positive and inspiring environment for both staff and pupils. Collaborating with such dedicated colleagues ensures that every child receives the best opportunities to grow, learn and succeed.
