My name is Kye Thompson. My role in school is Teaching Assistant.
I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children deserve to feel safe, valued and heard. They deserve opportunities to grow in confidence, develop resilience, and discover what they are capable of. I believe every child should be supported, encouraged and challenged in a positive environment where effort is celebrated just as much as achievement. Being part of Team YA means being part of a team that puts children first, leads with kindness, and creates experiences that make a lasting impact.
I love working at Yarborough Academy because every single day I get to make a difference in children’s lives. Seeing their confidence grow, watching them achieve things they once thought they couldn’t do, and being someone they trust means everything to me. I’m proud to be part of a team that leads with kindness, high standards, and heart.
