My name is Kate Fox. My role in school is Early Years Practitioner
I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children thrive when they feel safe, valued and understood. Strong, positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and through genuine care and consistency we create an environment where every child can flourish. By working closely with families and each other, we ensure each child’s learning and development is nurtured and celebrated, enabling them to achieve their best outcomes both academically and independently.
I love working at Yarborough Academy because during my time studying at university, the strategies and values at the heart of YA’s ethos truly resonated with me, and I knew it was where I wanted be. Seeing the YA Way put into practice and witnessing the impact it has on our children—whether through big achievements or small, meaningful steps forward—is incredibly rewarding and makes the work we do so worthwhile.
Three words my family and friends use to describe me are empathetic, supportive and outgoing.
