Grace Birkett

I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children should always feel supported and encouraged to do their best. I am incredibly passionate about providing children with a safe, positive and nurturing environment. I strongly believe children learn to their full potential when they feel valued, confident, inspired and a part of our YA family. Being part of such a collaborative and nurturing team makes YA a fabulous place to grow and develop as a teacher and support children in growing into kind and motivated individuals.

I love working at Yarborough Academy because we are all such a fabulous team who work hard together to make a difference and build a strong sense of community. All staff and children are so welcoming and the GLO values are demonstrated in everything we do which makes it so inspiring to be part of a team that is committed to supporting every child to feel safe, confident and successful. It is extremely rewarding and I am so lucky to be part of a school where relationships are at the heart of everything we do.
