Erica Richardson
My name is Erica Richardson. My role in school is Teacher.
I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children learn best when they feel safe, happy and cared for. I am passionate about creating a calm, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen, known and valued. I love supporting children to develop confidence, independence and kindness, while encouraging curiosity, play and a genuine enjoyment of learning as part of the Yarborough family.
I love working at Yarborough Academy because of the warm, supportive team and the strong sense of community. We work closely together to give our children the very best start, and it is a joy to be part of such a positive and happy place to learn.
Three words my family and friends use to describe me are positive, calm and kind.
