I am so proud to be part of Team YA. The YA Way and the way that we work is important to me because I truly believe that children learn best when they feel safe, listened to and valued. I feel the ethos surrounding the school and the overall environment helps children feel secure and respected, and teaches them that kindness, patience and understanding matter. When we show love, empathy and consistency, children grow in confidence, build positive relationships and feel happy to be themselves. I believe every child deserves to feel loved, supported and celebrated for who they are.

I love working at Yarborough Academy because it is a place where children are truly cared for and valued. Making children feel happy, safe and loved is so important to me. I enjoy bringing lots of care, enthusiasm and kindness into the classroom, and I love making children laugh and ensure every day is a day to smile. I really like to ensure I build a good relationship with each individual child because I feel strong relationships help children feel happy, confident and ready to learn and most importantly it makes school a joyful place to be.
